Good Afternoon To All Our Scottish Rite Brethren From The Valley of Akron. This is a Spring Valley of Akron BLAST
As we welcomed this weekend Daylight Savings Time and we Spring Ahead. Our Presiding Officers have followed the same plan and want to share and encourage all to participate in the following activities.
(1) Thursday Night at the Rite March 13, 2025 We will be traveling Rite On The Road to the Kent Masonic Temple, the home of Rockton Lodge # 316. Dinner will be at 6:30 pm with Chef Sublime Prince Craig Jennings preparing a Pasta Dish, Salad, Garlic Bread , Beverages and Pie for Desert. After dinner we will venture to the Lodge Room by 7:30 pm for the presentation of the 4th Degree (Builder) then at 8:00 p.m. the presentation of the new 24th Degree (Brother of Tolerance) this degree replaces the Brother of the Forest known as the American Indian Degree. This new degree will be presented by the Valley of Cincinnati. Many of you may need this degree to finish your Passport.We may have several candidates that night and as they begin their journey please come and Welcome Them into the Valley of Akron. See you in the Tree City of Kent and Journey On.
(2) Thursday March 20, 2025 Trustees and our monthly Stated Meeting. The Trustee meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the dining room of the Cuyahoga Falls Masonic Temple. All Officers are encouraged to attend. The Stated Meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Lodge Room of the Cuyahoga Falls Masonic Temple. This meeting is scheduled to be short. Your Presiding Officers following the meeting will be serving a Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner.
(3) The Valley of Akron Spring Reunion Friday April 4 and Saturday 5, 2025 at the Cuyahoga Falls Masonic Temple. This reunion is in the name of Sublime Prince David Korb, MSA. The schedule is as follows: Friday April 4, 2025 5:30 p.m. Registration Begins, 6:30 p.m. Dinner. 18th Degree at 7:15 p.m. Saturday April 5, 2025 8:00 a.m. Registration / Coffee and Donuts, 16th Degree at 9:00 a.m., 9:45 a.m. Video Degree, 10:30 a.m. 14th Degree,11:30 Video Degree, 12:00 noon LUNCH and at 2:45 p.m. 32nd Degree. Cost for the dinner on Friday, Coffee and Donuts and Lunch on Saturday is $ 25.00. (4) Tuesday, April 15, 2025 a Holy Week Ceremony Presentation of the Feast of the Paschal Lamb presented by Arras Chapter Rose Croix. This program will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Masonic Temple. The Ceremony will include a featured speaker and a Memorial Service to those Brethren who have passed.
Following the program refreshments will be served in the dining room.
