It is Monday, January 26,2026 and this is your Valley of Akron News Update.

I hope everyone is safe and doing well.

I do have some great news for all our Scottish Rite Families: Just 41 more days until March 8, 2026 when we Spring Ahead with Daylight Savings Time and 54 more days to March 20, 2026 which is the First Day of Spring.

In the meantime, this coming Thursday night is our second Thursday Night at the Rite featuring the Ninth Degree Master of the Temple. The Temple of King Solomon is dedicated by priests of many religions. Core Values explored Reverence for God, Service. Presented by the Valley of Cambridge.

The watch party will be hosted by Meridian Sun Lodge # 69 located at 4586 Streetsboro Road, Richfield, OH. The program will begin at 7:30 pm with the 4th Degree followed by the 9th degree. Candidates are most welcomed.

We need reservations by Wednesday, January 28, 2026 by 9:00 pm to determine refreshments and attendance. For reservations, please email valleyofakronohio.
